Parish School
Just a short walk from the Church of Our Lady and St Walstan is St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School. The church and school are closely linked with the children visiting the Church for worship on feast days and special celebrations and parishioners attending Mass in the school hall every other week during term time.
The parish and school hold joint events during the year and many of the parishioners have or have had children at the school. Many are former pupils themselves.
Father David Ward is the school’s Chaplain and is a regular visitor to St Augustine’s. Reverend Bill Dimelow supports him in his role and is also an Associate School Governor.
